Leafytots: E-commerce Website, CMS & Content Management for a Sustainable Clothing Brand

Project overview

Shopify website creation

Leafytots is a sustainable children’s clothing brand and my own end-to-end digital project.
I was responsible for building, managing and maintaining the full e-commerce platform, combining CMS management, content structure, product content, newsletters and visual assets.

This project allowed me to work hands-on with WordPress, WooCommerce and content-driven e-commerce, managing the platform over time rather than as a one-off launch.

E-commerce website & CMS management (WordPress / WooCommerce)

I was responsible for building, managing and maintaining the e-commerce website and its content through the CMS.

  • Built and launched the e-commerce website, including page structure, navigation and content organisation.

  • Managed website content using WordPress and WooCommerce, including pages, collections and product content.

  • Created and maintained product pages, descriptions, images and stock information.

  • Managed ongoing website updates and content changes through the CMS.

  • Ensured content accuracy, consistency and usability across the platform.

Platform transition & CMS continuity

(Shopify → WordPress)

I was responsible for managing the e-commerce platform before and after its transition from Shopify to WordPress, ensuring content continuity and ongoing CMS maintenance.

  • Built and managed the original e-commerce website on Shopify, including product pages, collections, content and visual structure.

  • Prepared and organised website content to ensure a smooth transition to a WordPress-based environment.

  • Collaborated with a developer during the migration process, providing content, structure and platform requirements.

  • Continued working directly in WordPress CMS after the migration, managing content updates, pages and product information.

  • Ensured content accuracy, consistency and usability across the platform after the transition.
